Dear Family, My week went alright i had a few embarrasing situations and we now think our zone leaders think we are apostate.. We had an investigator (adam) show us this amazing freestytle rap by this man who spent some time in jail. Thing is he didnt have any beats or anything and he was just rhyming, but the rap was incredible iwish you could here it. It was all about the savior and god and his decision to follow chirst. How we cant let satan have any power over us and i cant quote very well because i have only heard it twice but at one point he said sometinhg about god haveing one vision and i was like uh yeah!! .. its called the church of jesus christ of latter day saints, the best part about it was that mutiple times as i was listening i could feel the spirit testifying of the truths that were in his rap. I want to rename it to his testimonial rap becuase thats exactly what it was, anyways he showed us this rap and we got to aarons how and we thought how awesome would it be for him to hear this to know that there is better type of music to listen to than just a bunch of songs with swearing in it, so i have my comp text adam to find out what the name of the rap and rapper was, but she accidentally sent it to the Zone leaders.. she freaked out when they texted us back and said i dont know im not well versed in rap sisters... we almost peed our pants, and of course i got to clean up the mess when they called us 2 seconds later and all of this is happening during our lesson mind you, so not only are we embarressed because the whole situtaiton could have been avoided but we are also getting into "trouble" in fron tof our investigator and member. we assured them that we felt the spirit from it and it didnt draw our thoughts away from our purpose but in fact added on to it and if i had the chance i would recommend it to the mission president to listen to. they hung up and then sent us another reminder via text. so it kind of was resolved but we still arent comfortable to see them during skills and interviews this thursday. so it kind of was resolved but we still arent comfortable to see them during skills and interviews this thursday becuase they dont know the whole part about adam and wanting to share it with aaron and they havent listened to it so we feel like they dont completely trust us as much as they say they do.haha what a wonderful experience, right? Other than that we are still looking for people to teach, we actually have been meeting with this less active member for over 11 weeks now and just building a realation ship of love by serving and teaching her, and just when everyone kept telling us that we were wasting our time and that nothing would come of it, she had an entire week off wrok so her inlaws came and soent the week with her. we've met them beofre and shared the book of mormon and restoration messgae with them one day and then the restoation video the next. but this week we got to talk to them more in depth amonst the times we were serving this LA, and they are incredible people i just love them so much! The husband asks question syou didnt even think were possible and the wife not as interested in the church seems to just let him be interested and not keeping him from asking which is just as good, and last night we had dinner with them so we shared a message about the plan of salvation and as we were testifying of it you could see his eyes getting teary eyed! we invited him to read the pamphlet to find out more for himself and if reallys wants to know more we are willlingly to meet with him to talk more about it with him. BEST DAY EVER. so i got a picture with them so that i never forget them becuase im oretty sure i wont last another transfer. Still Looking for people to teach and thankfully we have a few names to work with, we will see how it goes this week.

Dear Family, I don't even know where to start this week.. ill start with the bad news then finish up with the good!! Bad news Aaron isnt doing well, he actually was upfront with us about it yesterday... so enough of the bad news and time for the crazy good news!! WE FOUND SOMEONE NEW TO TEACH THIS WEEK!!!! His name is Adam, the elders actually ran into to him the day that they came to our area to help us talk to people (blitz is what they call it) we got ahold of him scheduled an appointment and finally saw him this saturday. funny story: as we were teaching him this man walks into the room and goes to the washroom (cuz he lives in a rooming house, which means a house that has a lot of rooms has been turned into basically an apartment and each room belongs to a different person, and they all share the kitchen and washroom and we were sitting in the kitchen and the washroom was behind us) apparently he was listening to our conversation while in their because he comes out and says did i hear you were a spiritual person.. and we look at him and not sure what to say and so we very faintly say.. yeah.. so he starts talking to us about the power of women and how we have to be aware of the power of Satan so that we dont let it overtake us. then he starts SINGING to us, and i tried SOOOO hard not to laugh and i cracked once hahaha it was terrible but it was a terribly funny situation i think i did pretty well for myself.. then he leaves and about 10 minutes later walks in and says to adam "dog i need to talk to these girls" so he stops us AGAIN by singing to us the very same thing he sang 10 MINUTES AGO HAHAHA, i had better composure this time! But as he was singing i realized i recognized who he was, when i got to this area everyone said i need to met "the Crane" they said he was this man who walked around town with a cane and when he was stopped would put his one leg up as if to make himself look like a crane and hes super tall to boot! so ever since i got here i have looked for him and i saw him a few times here and there but always when we were driving by but never got the chance to speak to him.. until now when i realized that this man who wasn't holding a cane had just infact left it in his room!!! So when he left i asked adam, trying to hold back bursts of laughter, if he normally carry's a cane with him, he said yes! and those bursts of laughter came rolling out of my mouth with the assist of too many NO WAYS! anyways it was the most weirdest situation ever and this guy continued to interrupt us with his attempted singing that sounded like a Jamaican man.. even though he did not look Jamaican at all. So that's my funny story for the week:) We continued to teach Adam and he came to church on sundae, he seems to pretty interested in everything we are excited to see how this week goes, he does have a baptismal date for June 8 which is 7 days after the transfer so everyone please pray that i will stay here! We did tons of tracting and walking and tracting and walking and tracting in the rain and walking in the rain, it was fun!! i LOVE tracting in the rain, i really do it surprised me so much that when we were finished i didnt really want to be finished. We did lots of service for members and nonmembers, we met this cute little family waking to the hospital tuesday this week, and we stopped to ask if we could help them garden they said yes and we were shocked, not many people say yes. But we found out that she had tons of health issuses and her husband was passing from cancer and so they couldnt do it on their owen, so we went back to their house a few times to wrok on their garden, it was so nice to know we could help them, however they werent interested in religion we figured we could plant a few seeds not only in her heart but in the garden. Everything sounds so nice back home and the cabinets look good, I love you ALL!!! Sister Hadley

Dear Family, Well im not sure what to say since i said most of it last night haha. But we had a rough week, a lot of our investigators gave us the boot or we decided they needed the boot, so we are looking for new investigators, we found two this weekend, unfortunately not from the any of the doors we knock on or any of the people we talked to,through an advertisements we do through a website for free bibles and books of Mormon and chapel tours and etc, anything that has to do with the church! We will hopefully see them again this week and see where they go from there! We laugh at our embarrassments and pick ourselves up after the rejections and we try not to let anything get us down because if we did we might just miss that one person who is waiting for us. I am still amazed at the miracles that heavenly father sends our way every single day, i don't think i have ever witnessed this many miracles ever in my life its incredible. I love you all so very much and enjoyed talking to ya'll last night. everyone was so different i was shocked, i guess i forgot that time keeps turning in every corner of the earth even when you aren't there. Ill have more to write next week!! Love Sister Hadley
