Dear Family, I don't even know where to start this week.. ill start with the bad news then finish up with the good!! Bad news Aaron isnt doing well, he actually was upfront with us about it yesterday... so enough of the bad news and time for the crazy good news!! WE FOUND SOMEONE NEW TO TEACH THIS WEEK!!!! His name is Adam, the elders actually ran into to him the day that they came to our area to help us talk to people (blitz is what they call it) we got ahold of him scheduled an appointment and finally saw him this saturday. funny story: as we were teaching him this man walks into the room and goes to the washroom (cuz he lives in a rooming house, which means a house that has a lot of rooms has been turned into basically an apartment and each room belongs to a different person, and they all share the kitchen and washroom and we were sitting in the kitchen and the washroom was behind us) apparently he was listening to our conversation while in their because he comes out and says did i hear you were a spiritual person.. and we look at him and not sure what to say and so we very faintly say.. yeah.. so he starts talking to us about the power of women and how we have to be aware of the power of Satan so that we dont let it overtake us. then he starts SINGING to us, and i tried SOOOO hard not to laugh and i cracked once hahaha it was terrible but it was a terribly funny situation i think i did pretty well for myself.. then he leaves and about 10 minutes later walks in and says to adam "dog i need to talk to these girls" so he stops us AGAIN by singing to us the very same thing he sang 10 MINUTES AGO HAHAHA, i had better composure this time! But as he was singing i realized i recognized who he was, when i got to this area everyone said i need to met "the Crane" they said he was this man who walked around town with a cane and when he was stopped would put his one leg up as if to make himself look like a crane and hes super tall to boot! so ever since i got here i have looked for him and i saw him a few times here and there but always when we were driving by but never got the chance to speak to him.. until now when i realized that this man who wasn't holding a cane had just infact left it in his room!!! So when he left i asked adam, trying to hold back bursts of laughter, if he normally carry's a cane with him, he said yes! and those bursts of laughter came rolling out of my mouth with the assist of too many NO WAYS! anyways it was the most weirdest situation ever and this guy continued to interrupt us with his attempted singing that sounded like a Jamaican man.. even though he did not look Jamaican at all. So that's my funny story for the week:) We continued to teach Adam and he came to church on sundae, he seems to pretty interested in everything we are excited to see how this week goes, he does have a baptismal date for June 8 which is 7 days after the transfer so everyone please pray that i will stay here! We did tons of tracting and walking and tracting and walking and tracting in the rain and walking in the rain, it was fun!! i LOVE tracting in the rain, i really do it surprised me so much that when we were finished i didnt really want to be finished. We did lots of service for members and nonmembers, we met this cute little family waking to the hospital tuesday this week, and we stopped to ask if we could help them garden they said yes and we were shocked, not many people say yes. But we found out that she had tons of health issuses and her husband was passing from cancer and so they couldnt do it on their owen, so we went back to their house a few times to wrok on their garden, it was so nice to know we could help them, however they werent interested in religion we figured we could plant a few seeds not only in her heart but in the garden. Everything sounds so nice back home and the cabinets look good, I love you ALL!!! Sister Hadley
